I'm going to give it a fair shake on its own merits. It won't bear up against the real thing.

Hey, BB, if you like that one,
    I have a P. Becker blasted morta
dublin that you can acquire for
    a reasonable sum. ;)

    Loading up some Pelican for
    tomorrow's commute. Supposed
to be below freezing tonight, so
the roads might be a challenge
in the morning. Not looking forward
    to commuting in such winter
    conditions again. May be time
    for a relocation, gents/ladies.

Sutliffe Charlemagne in a Moorgate (Comoy 2nd). I have no idea why, but this is my favorite smoke right now. I just keep coming back to it, over and over, while all my other pipes and tobaccos go neglected.

    Nightcap in a Country Gentleman.

Twinnings English Breakfast to go with.

Smoked something like 7 bowls today, I'm content.

Finishing up tonight with a bit of Sugar Barrel in the MM Pony. I've been "feeling cobbish" today.

Germain's plum cake in a vauen sir rusticated. I love this stuff. Sweet and spicey, floral, fruity, musky.

I decided on Anniversary Kake in a 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 that smokes like a first. Now that I'm out of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match, I'll smoke up the rest of the Half&Half pouch and I think I'll smoke that in my tan etched slight bend 2001 Rinaldo Sahara 2, after I finish the AK. After that, I'll smoke H&H in cobs the rest of the evening/morning. It's a pleasant thing to do while working.

Going to be a long night. Smoking a mix of Pirate Kake and Honour Blend, about ten percent Pirate, in my blessed Pete. Coffee at two AM.
