If it aint broke don't fix it - MacB Vanilla Cream Loose in the Vauen pot.
James Fox - Shean's Blend in the Winslow Crown
Never had it before, and in fact I'd never heard of it. Got a sample from a generous member with a note saying it can only be had at the shop. Good stuff! Fruity, a little vanilla or honey or something in there, too. Just a bit of bite, but some good sweetness, and it's burning dry and clean
G&H BB#2 in a Burnsley&Burnsley billiard
Troost Aro in a Weber apple
Better than FMO Researve?
Kendal Plug in a Sav Professor. This is some crazy moist tobacco.
Irish Flake cradling Irish Oak cradling University Flake cradling Old Dublin, in the xxl IMP meerschaum. Sitting back with a pot of tea and listening to music. Tomorrow's a holiday. Yea!
Union Square in a Pete 2007 POY. Up really early to see Mrs Muddler off - Namibia on business for the week.
No, but they're quite different. I just love the way the Turkish works with the VA and burley in First Pipe. It's masterful, to be sure.
Special Latakia Flake in a Dunhill. Yet another magical blend. Beautiful weather today, a real stunner. High was 64F, and it's now 53F. Have a good week, folks.
The daily Old Joe Krantz in the Stanwell.
Dr. Pepper on the side.
Still doing online work, that's what I get for forgetting to do it throughout the week.
Dunhill Royal Yacht in my Brighsm 446. A less talked-about blend from them, but quite interesting.
H&H/BCA in an Ozark
Probably the last smoke of the day
Troost Special Cavendish in the Country Gent
Good combo especially with more Dr. Pepper and South Park.
This evening's roster: Anniversary Kake in my Karl Erik Ekstravagant A, followed by Onyx in a medium bent meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl. Then it was Dark Flake in a smooth Fero Danese Italy small calabash shape . My last smoke of the evening/morning is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a half smooth, half rusticated Savinelli Autograph full bend.
Anni Kake and The match are regulars for ya huh?
MC Dark Star in a Altinok meer with coloring bowl.
OldSoule65: These days, yes. I have open tins of several tobaccos and a few in baggies - nine overall at the moment. When I smoke up a blend, I open something else. I have about an ounce or so left of the ERR Match, which I have grown to like. When that's done, I'll open an aromatic of some kind, maybe Sail Green because I have one pouch left (won't buy it again, but I wanted to try it) or should I go for a Burley? Haven't decided yet. I finished all my Black House bulk, so now I'm smoking Onyx for my English, and that will take a while since I have 300 grams of it. I'm giving Amphora Red a rest for a while, so when I go back, I'll enjoy the fruity flavor. I really like the Anni Kake, and Louisiana Red as you have seen, but I want to age the rest of my tins of AK, so when this tin is done, I may give that blend a rest, too. The nice thing about switching around some blends - besides avoiding too much familiarity - is that I have a number of pipes not being smoked because they are dedicated to certain blends and are waiting for me to switch up and get to them.
I'm going to be out of town for a little bit and won't get to post during that time or smoke near as much as I'm used to. That will be hard to take since I constantly smoke. I'll miss reading and posting, darn it! I enjoy reading what others smoke as much as I like telling what I smoke.
McClelland 620 Mocha Black.
Good Monday Morning Gents,
I'm starting the week off with FVF in my Altinok Pear with black coffee for the ride in this morning.
Happy Monday, All
