A cloudy but as yet dry morning. Picked the last of the tomatoes and green beans from the garden, nothing left but some green tomatoes that are destined for the frying pan. You can take the boy out of the South but...
Starting the day with SG's Baltic flake in the Pete. the more I smoke of this the better I like it.

Union Square in a Pietenpauw canted dublin. The pipe was a gift from a good friend. It has a wonderful, wide-open draw - pretty much smokes itself.

Absolutely gorgeous autumn day here. Took the dogs for a walk, now I'm kicking back with some Dunhill 965 in a Chestnut 4102. I've never looked at this grain closely in the sun before. It's actually quite lovely AND a good smoker.

Afternoon, gentlemen. Having some FVF in a Peterson while trying to get all my work done so I can go to a concert tonight without any anxiety about things left undone. Didn't get as warm today as they were calling for, sitting at a totally tolerable 75F.

It's been several months since I've smoked this pipe, but for now, it's the current Three Nuns tinned version in one of the early Radice Tiger Eye G medium bend pipes. A great smoker. Wish I could take a picture of it. The bowl is like an oversized Rhodesian, except it's tall. A great smoker.

MacBaren Club Blend in a Peterson 80S. Darjeeling tea. Another nice thing about smoking a pipe outside during the winter, as you get older and start to feel the cold more, the warmth from a good pipe feels very good in your hand. 0C(32F)H91%
