Started off the day with Boswell prem. Burley, Boswell apple strudel, and just finished some Mac B. Dark Twist.
    Had a great day.

I love Saturdays, guys. With the exception of my little beauty sleep, I've had a pipe in my mouth all day. It's been a combo of Kendal Kentucky, Dark Flake scented, and Coniston Cut Plug. Also, one bowl of Dark Plug. I lost track of which pipes I used, mostly cobs.

Yes, it is designed to make the pipe color more evenly rather than all dark at the shank, keeps the bowl from building cake which slows the coloring process, strange looking I know :byg:.

McConnell Scottish Cake in a DGE cob. This is my first time trying this blend, and I really like it right off the bat. They got the proportions right with the VA and Kentucky, and without looking it up, I'd bet there's Perique in there, but it's not overpowering. Well balanced with a nice nicotine punch.

Again, just my first impressions. We'll see how my opinion of it develops as I smoke through the tin. Props to mrpipster on the trade!

Well, I haven't gotten a chance to smoke much today. Parents are in town for a football game, so I spent most of the day with them, and there was neither time nor place to smoke, and being the only smoker in my family I didn't want to ask them to go someplace with me just so I could relax and smoke for half an hour....and I wanted to spend time with them since I see them rarely, so I just ducked off into a washroom once or twice for a little snuff (they may or may not approve of me using smokeless tobacco, I don't really care to find out)

But I did have that bowl of Royal Yacht before seeing them, and walking home from a tailgate I smoked and Avanti.

Sitting down to a bowl of Kendal Dark in the Wessex Dublin right now, and boy does it hit the spot!
