Guess I may beat FlatbushPaul to answering , but I think it's pretty good, though it can bite if you puff too fast. A moderate straight Virginia, kinda hay-like taste, not complex or very sweet, but enjoyable. I'm ageing the last two tins I have (bought in 2004). I'm curious to see if FP agrees with me.

Exactomundo! My only complaint is that it is on the mild side and it kinda makes ya want to puff a little harder and faster to satisfy the taste and that will lead to a little bite. It's on the soft side and needs to be puffed slowly and soft.
