Tonight I began breaking in my new Omega. Enjoyed two half-bowls of Boswell's excellent Raspberry Cream blend. Unfiltered, Bigelow Cinnamon tea to accompany. Tomorrow morning I'll repeat, but with McC's TQ cavendish and a cup of Caribou Obsidian coffee with cream. I may follow right up with a full bowl of my Uhle's "Blend 71"/BCA 50/50 mix.
University Flake cradling Old Dublin cradling University Flake cradling 3P in a xxl IMP meerschaum. Just getting to the Old Dublin and this has been a very pleasant smoke. 3P does something very nice to the University Flake as it burns through it. Small scotch on the side. 10C(50F)H46%

At the moment it's McClelland's Syrian Full Balkan in a Dunhill 4109 Bruyere Canadian. The pipe is well broken in, and has a thin walled bowl, so that a small amount of moisture from the smoke appears on the outside of the bowl. These are the best smokes. The pipe is 6 1/2 inches long which cools the smoke.
I smoked Half&Half in a 1979 smooth full bend no-name pipe, followed by Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a MM Diplomat cob. Now finishing the night/morning with Anniversary Kake in a 1979 large calabash briar 221-B Baker Street made in Israel.

Just gone midday here on a beautiful clear day. May cloud over later - some rain forecast for the rest of the week. I'm puffing on Old Gowrie in a Pietenpauw tomato. Beautiful little pipe with some great birds eye underneath. Life is good!
