Today has consisted of CB. White in my trusty mm diplomat, FM in my Pete meer, and now enjoying some GH Balkan blend in my hackert briar.

Since last we met: Anniversary Kake in a smooth 1983 Ben Wade Duo 65 Poker, followed by Dark Bird's Eye in an old Barling straight Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. Now it's Three Friars in a 1983 medium bend, mostly smooth, bottom rusticated Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier 3 Fatt Main.

I think it's Fait Main, made by hand, unless your BC has a different stamping on it than mine.

Just for the heck of it, loaded the xxl IMP meerschaum bottom to top, Weybridge, Prairie Wind and Painter Hills. I only use this pipe in the evening, but now considering having a briar with a very large bowl as well. That long after dinner smoke just mulling over the day has become a pleasant habit and a pipe that will keep going for close to 2 hours does the job. 4C(39F)H65%.

That pipe looks like it'd be a really comfortable evening smoker.

Indeed. The long stem makes for easy reading of the tablet and nice cool smoke.

I friggin love St. James. Might just be the best VaPer I've ever had, and frustratingly enough, I think it's possibly even more elusive than the almighty FVF. Worth hunting for though, that's for sure.

Dan Old Ironsides in a Savinelli. This stuff is the king of gourmet lat blends, in my most humble of opinions. Predictably, it follows the tried and true pipe tobacco positive correlation curve: as blend X's deliciousness increases, so too does its rarity. Might have to brush up on my German and place an order soon.
