Boswell's Best in a $20 no-name meer. Hubby opened the bag of mini Tootsie Rolls about an hour ago and the sweet tooth is leaping tall buildings in a single bound now.

Yes. Only a fool completely obsessed with acquiring MORE pipes would even consider making their own. Then you start spending your pipe & tobacco money on tools and materials. And your free-time is spent in the shed. And you don't even know what happened.... but you know you need more stuff... and you're "behind."
Takes one to know one ;-)

I don't know whether to be happy that I easily made it to the bottom of a bowl or aggravated that an ember burned the side of my tongue.

Well I finally got around to my next smoke and it will be 3P in the craggy meer while I watch season 2 of Sherlock.

There are better, but this is new to me.

Got pics? I'd love to see that one.

As for me, now that dinner is over and dishes going, time for some Sugar Barrel in the old estate MM cob.

I guess every pipe smoker has to do it once. That's why I politely try and dissuade those that get obsessive about smoking to the bottom of the bowl. Now that you have the scar you are entitled to chuckle whenever someone else does this, or not.

Painter Hills in a MM Legend. Going to require some replacement stems for these cobs. They're so light and easy to clench that biting through a stem isn't unexpected. -5C(23F) H88%.
