Inspiration has struck for the next pipe! I'll have a bowl of H&H Eggnog with the first small glass of pumpkin eggnog of the season. Hubby and I love eggnog. Now I just need to select a pipe to pack ...

I'm virtually out of Kendal Dark. After this bowl I have enough for maybe 2-4 bowls (four only if packing especially small pipes)

But, I have had a pretty good day and want to end on a good note, so Kendal Dark in the BST

Captain Black White in a cob. Been out of the country for a few months and all of my pipes and tobacco are in storage and 2500 miles away from this godforsaken Florida suburb where I'll be staying for the next few weeks. At the local drug store I had limited choices. A cob or an undersized Grabow? CB White or CB Royal? I made my choices and I'm happier than a gator in a pet shop. I've been away from the pipe for too long.

Irish Flake cradling 3P in a medium IMP freehand meerschaum. Entertaining afternoon watching, and making small wagers, on which vehicle going up the ice covered hill had cruise control engaged and at which point it would drop a gear and spin out. GM pickup duallys are a safe bet.

I headed out at the end of May for a few fays in Israel and then almost 5 months in China. All business. Last time I was there, I took lots of pipes and then rarely smoked them. It was all cigars and cigarettes. This time I decided not to bring any pipes and instead picked up a couple boxes of Habanos at the duty free in Tel Aviv. The cigars were good. But good lord I missed my pipes.

I just snagged a big 'ol Diplomat off of the pipe shelf and jammed a wad of 3-year-old Vintage Syrian in the combustion chamber.

    This stuff is fabulous.
