I'm smoking my third bowl of exhausted rooster in a day. And doing so in the talon churchwarden. I think it has made a strong first impression on me.

Meant to put a nice earthy leathery slice of Stonehaven on the drying plate before I left the house this morning but I forgot. Hope it dries enough in time for a Thursday night date night with a Tinsky Tomato. A proper rubbing out should speed it along.

First couple of bowls of E.R. I thought nothing going on here, but I have found that it opens up if I give it a chance. Good stuff.

I've been busy working, and just finished Dark Twist Roll Cake in a medium bend straight grain 2000 Winslow C silver spigot. Going for a new drink and smoke.

Enjoying a nice bowl of Peretti's Ebony in the Medico Apple. It's prolly the best non-goopy aro and smoothest I have ever smoked. Sipping on some Pg tips hot tea for a little bit longer.....don't want to sleep in the TeePee tonight.

Just in from a short walk with some McC's Full Dark English in my slightly bent Brigham apple (I think?).

This pipe is growing on me, I'm starting to love the shape, feels very good in the hand. Trying to build up a cake in it now, I'm finding it's starting to have fuller flavour the more I smoke it. I'm still have issues with the stem, though, which I should post about in the pipe making thread.

It's one of those pipes that seem especially well suited to English blends and Balkan type blends, maybe because it looks like it was dug up from the dirt.

(should have posted a pic with the full pipe, the stem is kind of long)

Last pipe was the Tortoise Forever Stemmed MM Diplomat with Squadron Leader. So it's rock a by time for me as I leave Rocktoberfest activities in your good pipes, now if the night crew is not fully cooperative with wordiness, puns, smoking of pipes, floating of thingies both hot and cold or simply not pulling their effective weight have them look for Mrs Calabash or it's the Group W bench for the mugs see, myeah........... ;) See you in 4 if Sherlock Holmes doesn't keep me up for a double header, obtw GO SOX! :old:

The Cards and Sox are playing, no score in the top of the first. I'm smoking Tilbury in a 2003 black grain etched Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn with a smooth top. A can of Coke is my drink.

    Good day, eh.

McClellands #24 Virginia in a bent basket weave carved meerschaum billiard. Ginger ale & orange juice (50/50) over crushed ice.

I'm going to pick up a half dozen tins of this when my situation allows. I wish it was offered in bulk.
