Now, it's time for MacBaren Scottish Mixture in a smooth full bend 1977 Crown Coachman 215 egg (Charatan second). Cards and Red Sox play less than an hour from now.

Bee ute tee ful Autumn day all around. Started off with a 4 hour round trip straight down I-10. Met my wife in town for lunch then came home for some much needed yard work. Got the fire pit ready, the Jack-O-Lanterns carved and tiki torches full for a fine evening of family, bourbon and piping. Just smoked a nice bowl of Margate in a Mario Grandi Tomato with a Coors light chaser. Going to partake in the good smellin' stuff for my wife. Mac B ready rubbed Vanilla Cream in a GBD Prince. Going to let the bourbon decide the next smoke. Y'all have an outstanding PSF evening!!

Last pipe of the evening post the second installment of the latest iteration of Sherlock Holmes (Downey Jr. et Law) is Wessex Gold Brick in the MM Diplomat with Tortoise Forever Stem. So one won't feel my other pipes were neglected today plenty of cobs consumed much tobacco followed by plenty of ground coffee beans brewed strong and black and drunk via the PRM. We are taking ourselves collectively between the sheets to nurse a lovely mug of hot cocoa whilst reading One Summer America 1927, perhaps Mrs Calabash was but a twinkle in that ERA and not lost but I digress, Rock On Rocktoberfester's and we'll see you once again, PRM in hand in about 4 or so if the slackers aka the night crew, can collect their mindless backsides and remove them from their collective hands and place fingers to keyboard and post something dammit! I'm feeling much better now........ :dkn:

Saturday night here and for my evening break--A big glass of fresh brewed tea and my Big Bad Ass Billy Sasquatch Billiard---loaded that monster up with rubbed out Stonehaven and turned on some easy listening music in the garage. Once again I am reminded of how lucky I am to have pipes like that---good lord that thing defines awesome in briar. Cool, dry and a mighty fine draw and balance. Blessed in a great way. To all--have a great night and an even better tomorrow.:toast::bing::bing:--smile--people will wonder what your up to.:byg:

Cardinals lead the Red Sox 2-0 going to the 4th. I've had a craving for this next tobacco all day, so now, I'm smoking St. James Flake in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer. A bottle of Dad's Root Beer is my drink.

Sitting outdoors enjoying the cool Autumn evening listening to cool classics on the radio and "Dust in The Wind" comes on the radio. I took that as a sign for me to load up one of my Rock Cobs for my next smoke. Then this frog jumps on my head . So, it's Frog Morton Cellar in my Red Rock Cob! Bourbon and Coke is my drink.

Evening PSF. Busy day of errands today but now its time to relax with another bowl of Syrian Star. This tobacco is something of a revelation - I typically eschew Lat blends, or at least I have, but this stuff is really starting to grow on me. I get no bite from it whatsoever, it has great flavor...........I see an order in my future. Thanks to Mediumdun for the sample. Smoking in a David Jones Diplomat, Perrier on the side.

    Today was a busy day.

DFU n the Yellobole Dublin to cap it all off. Nothing to drink cause I can't be bothered to get back up. Fifteen minutes and I'll be sleeping like a baby.(I'll probably pee the bed and wake up crying a few times and console myself with a mid sleep snack.)
