Teddy's York-Shire Sat. mix in the Viking
I've had a scrap of paper in my, procession of, wallets , certainly over 40 years , from before I met Mrs Wicker anyway and written on it :-

Time is a human invention, something
that exists, in a practical sense, only
by virtue of the machines we develop
to "measure" it. In point of fact, the
thing we are measuring is created
by the devices that do the measurement

It's that long ago I don't remember where it came from :wch: maybe Teddy said it.

Good Lord, don't get me going on "time". We'll have to start a thread, and I'll have to get my Robert Penn Warren notes out!

“[A]nd soon now we shall go out of the house and go into the convulsion of the world, out of history into history and the awful responsibility of Time.”

I'm making those home fries I was thinking about last night for the family and it's going to take longer than I'd thought, so I'll skip out to the balcony for some PS LNF in the Amphora X-tra while they roast.

Good morning everyone. Rocking out in the am with dark twist roll cake in the red rock and bamboo rockcob and a giant cup of coffee. Looks like the clouds are starting to clear out. Should be a nice sunny day in the low 50s.

Finished out last night watching a classic World Series game while smoking a lot of MB Honey & Chocolate. Teddi loves to sit in my lap while I smoke that.

Now its Sunday morning. Not up until 7am and that was at Teddie's insistence. Let her outside in the 48-degree morning. Brewed up the tea and settled down to my reading with a Bacca pipe filled with Irish Oak. Next came CH in a cob with Ocean Spray citrus/orange drink.

I'm off to the new Legoland outside the city today, bringing a small army of kids. Should be fun!

Felt like something different today, I'm having Presbyterian in a slightly bent Brigham rusticated apple.

Just put in a big order at 4Noggins, really looking forward to trying some new tobaccos.

Finishing off the day with a bowl of leftovers, mostly a mix of burly, in a Stanwell shape 19. I was able to get a nap in today but am hoping to get off to bed early. Good night PSF.

Rainy and a cool 62 here in my part of Texas. Perfect weather for some Margate in a Pete 07 St. Paddy Bulldog. Hot coffee and a belly full of fresh doughnuts. Y'all have a fine fine PSF day!

Coffee, Peterson Special 2013 Reserve in a Pete 999. Looks like a great sunny fall day in KY. Filling up kerosene jugs for winter at the local rural station couple miles away when they open after lunch, get ahead of the annual leaf war in the yard afterwards. Probably go to some 4 Noggins Prairie Wind VaPer in a CG in the barn this afternoon.

    Morning All,

Boswell burly in my bullet-proof cob.
After about 4 hrs of scooting around on knees & butt setting tile yesterday, I am SORE in 4,768 places.
