Well thanks, JimInks. FishNBanjo's pie was actually much better, but I appreciate the thought.

And by the way, F&B - Pie-sces??? :shead:

Anyways-- I'm all partied out, so I'm smoking this bowl of remnants in the Falconwarden and then going to bed. Thanks for the birthday, guys!

What you didn't see pie? :ngty: Anywhoo I'm smoking my Daniel Mustran creation that came in the mail with some PS Navy Broken Flake, damn this pipe smokes as good as it looks and it looks better in the hand than in the the photo, much larger but the bowl size is perfect!

I don't care wether it's a fake birthday or his real birthday, I'm just happy we have something great to celebrate, so I'm smoking a celebratory bowl in honor of dBear. You only turn 11 once.

Your new pipe is a beauty, Sante!

    NH.

The pheasants are stocked by the Fish and Game Department here because they aren't native to NH.

That's one beautiful pipe, Mssr. Fish!!

Pirates lead the Cardinals 6-1 in the 7th. I'm smoking Full Virginia Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Shell bulldog. And before you ask, the FVF was dried to the proper temperature. :D I don't like it too dry and certainly not too wet. Sounds like I'm describing a drink. Hhmmmmm......

    Hello Gents-

Just picked up some Villiger 1888 Mid-Day, a vanilla semi- aromatic. I really liked it and enjoyed it during a nice 30 min lunch smoke.

Dusted off an old Peter Kent pipe from the 80's that is shaped liked a check mark (skater?) to fill with my second attempt with Navy Rolls. I plan on smoking several different pipes with NR this weekend to give it a fair shot.

Hello there. Peretti's Midnight in a Neerup. This is one of the weirdest tobaccos I've ever smoked, but I like it. Definitely not the kind of thing I could smoke all day, but I enjoy it when I do smoke it.

One more memo I have to send out and then I'm free for the weekend! I swear it feels like it's been two weeks since last Friday.

You think the stem needs some work, sandpapers for example? But if you look it better needs some buff shinning too.If you see it more....em....deeply....i think a little wax will finish the job. The stem job i mean of course. :ngty:

I am smoking McLintock Il Camino.

Now on to the PS LBF in the country gent. The Old Gowrie was a nice long and cool smoke down to the bottom of the bowl all nice white ash.

Having just recovered from repeated viewings of dBear's UnBirthday presents, I'm enjoying my daily ration of

Newminster Superior Navy Flake in a Dunhill Diplomat ...

Served up Simmo-Style™ on a cutting board with coffee filter, it tastes really good. I have no idea what the cutting board and coffee filter actually do, but it looks cool.

The box containing the SNF is labeled Maj 2013. I'm gonna take a wildassed guess that's Danish for May 2013. Anyway, fresh out of the box it's damned good.

SNF has that toasty brown Virginia thing going on. Less of the hay grass aroma. One other smoker here described it as marshmallow toastyness which works for me too. Whatever it is, I crave it every day.
