Funny thing happened earlier. I was sitting here posting on the forum and suddenly fell asleep. I have the impression I was hypnotized into sleeping, but maybe I'm imagining that. Anyway, I woke up a little bit ago, did a few things around the house while I was smoking a bowl of Sunrise Smoke in a 1949 medium bend Dunhill Shell. Have a bit of work to do today and two baseball playoff games will be on TV. Be back in a moment with my next smoke.

Spent my Sunday watching King of the Hill, reading comics, drinking Earl Grey and smoking a whole bunch of SWR and H&H. I love Sundays and now off to bed.

Just finished eating lunch and am now smoking MacBarenThree Nuns in a 2003 medium bent straight grain Two dot 2 P. Ardor Venere Extra Bucaneve with a silver ferrule signed by Dorelio Rovera. I'm near the end of this tin Sutliff sent to me for review. Three Nuns required a longer review than usual for me, as I felt the need to explain my history with the blend and the difference between the old VaPer, the Orlik VaKen, and the new MacBaren versions. I'm going to give a final edit later tonight and post my MacBaren and Sutliff Private Stock reviews either then or tomorrow.

Good afternoon, everyone... I'm enjoying a bowl of '07 SG Bracken Flake in a Tsuge brandy this afternoon. I hope you all have a great finale to your weekend.

Just off to the store to buy a Sunday roast. Bringing a half bent bulldog full of Frog Morton Cellar for the walk. Currently wrapping up what's been a three year book project. Can't believe it's almost done.

The Pirates lead the Cardinals 2-0 after one inning. I decided to take the afternoon off and watch a ballgame for a change, a rare occurrence for me. I also decided to do something new, which is to smoke St. James Flake in a pipe with a big bowl pipe, which is a smooth 2002 medium bend eight sided panel top straight grain Rinaldo Collection Silver Line F Egea 05 Titania bulldog. I usually only smoke FVF in it, but I wanted to relax and enjoy this wonderful tobacco today. Some bends are made to savor and this is one of them, but I usually have to work, which means smoking it in a clencher. Not today though! Drinking a Boylan's Root Beer, which is one of the best complex tasting root beers on the market, and deserves to be savored, too.
