For my second smoke of the day I'm gonna fire up some Tilbury in a Pietenpauw Slightly Bent Bulldog with more black coffee on the side.

Second bowl of CH in the Derringer with the third cup of Maxwell House while catching up on my reading. Stormy is paying us a visit this morning and the rain has cooled things off a bit. Going to be a short week, Friday will be spent on the road heading to Richmond. Now just have to get thru the next 4 days of work and a severe case of butterflies.
Sampling some home blend ( just to make sure it is alright before giving it away )

Man that looks like a nice slab of German Chocolate Cake!
Stayed up longer than I should have, and while I was awake, I smoked Charlemagne in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.95) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega. Going to catch a couple hours of sleep before the A's-Tigers game starts. See ya later!

A new order from 4Noggins just arrived with some new tobaccos to try. Always very exciting. Starting off with the G & H Balkan Mixture Bulk in my half bent bulldog with some coffee. This stuff smells intriguing. I'd heard it compared to some of the McC Frog tobaccos but it has a much sweeter, fruitier smell out of the bag, I wonder if there's more Virginia? It just generally smells less "dark" and "heavy" than the Frog blends.
I also got a tin of Presbyterian Mixture to try later.
It's mild but quite windy here in Toronto. The wind has blown away all those low, gloomy clouds.
Morning again, fellows.

Paul Olsen My Own Blend No 111 in a G Huybrecht - London Castle. High quality stuff but... I don´t know. After a weekend smoking Borkum Riff Bourbon I expected more from this, significantly costlier, blend. I´ll give it another try and maybe rub it out. So far I´m not impressed.
Finished putting the new plates on, checkin' the levels and charging the battery after a six month "probate" rest. Now it's time to Rock the Fest. w/ C&D Epiphany the choice. I think DUBHVU means beautiful view (Saturn Vue), but I barely know 'Merican.
