Is that the first you've had of it? I wish I'd known, I would've sent some with that last batch.
Actually RickPal turned me on to some of this a while ago - but I smoked through it real quickly, as you can imagine. Just like I'll probably do with this batch. So, if you was just wantin' to hate on somebody...
On to the next.
GH Bosun Cut Plug
in a Sav Capri Root
That's a beautiful old house! What is that, 1900-1910 or there about? Kinda looks like it has been resided. Has it?
Amen Brother, so nice for is to finally be cooling of down here!
Now for the inaugural bowl in my Basil Meadows "Wedding Pipe". I'm going to be breaking it in using the Berg method, cramming it full of Rum Flake and smoking the hell out of it. I'm not even a third of the way into a bowl and I'm already impressed. This thing is awesome.
Thanks again, Basil.
This is a joyful time for German pipesmokers, because the long awaited annual DanPipe catalogue is sent out these days - and mine has just arrived.
It's only common decency to smoke a Dan tobacco while browsing through this , so I loaded the amazing Paolo Becker Morta - thanks over and over again dp! - with some St. Bernard by DTM.
Hours of pipe and tobacco porn ahead!
Falcon February? I'm in.
(Just hit the 3k milestone - wootwoot. )
why only the bananas in the middle are dancing?
Stormy spent a lot more time and energy in NW Florida and Alabama. He paid a brief visit here Sunday, but his clouds (smoke) remained through yesterday. Today its already in the mid 70's, and there is not a cloud in the sky. I'm almost ready for a lunch break and I will retrive whats left of that MBF for an after lunch smoke.
Congrats Simon on 3K!
And belated congrats to
WS for 2k
About to make some
red dust after I finish
this Bosun. Which
begs the question, did
American Indians use
peace pipe tampers?
I'm currently sitting by the river smoking a bowl of Dark Flake Scented in a Brigham Voyageur billiard. I've decided I want a tug boat dadgummit! I don't know what I'd do with it other than give DBear rides around the Nashville waterways, but it sure would be fun.
Congrats on 3k brother.
This bowl of rum flake may be the best I've ever had. This little pipe is amazing.
Edited to add: Anybody who doesn't have one of Basil's pipes, go buy one. Seriously, I'll wait.
3K! Slacker............ Congratulations Simon.
Work is going well, so I stepped out for a bowl of Pirate Kake I had packed last night but didn't get around to smoking. I had it with coffee but it almost requires something stronger, way stronger, as it overshadows everything else with its intensity.
Grats on the 3,000 Simon. Falcon Feb for me as well!
Smoking some of my va/per mix in a Falcon. Pg tips in the mug. Beautiful day here at 57f.
Falcon Feb. means I'll have to add a Falcon to my shopping list this weekend. (Any excuse to buy a pipe is a good excuse!) Having some SP Whiskey blend with the last of the coffee while taking a break from the shop.
Congrats Simon on 3k, raising my bowl to you. On the front porch with my Edward's flame grain Canadian billiard, enjoying immediate gratication provided by Old Gowrie, and indiscreetly providing second hand smoke to the neighbors. Just love the California smoking laws.
And happy 3K Simon!
Everybody let me sleep in, which I greatly appreciated. Even Stormy quieted down from one of his early morning rants, though he may still have a few things to say today. Suzy and Molly were very patient and waited until I got up before asking for wet food. They're happy now, and as I wait for m'lady to make clam chowder and a grilled cheese, I'm smoking Weybridge in a 2003 straight grain Karl Erik Ekstravagant A medium bend freehand sitter. Simply Orange is my drink.
For an after lunch smoke I chose Chief Catoonah's Bailey's Supreme in a Ferndown 3* Bark Dublin with a Cumberland Stem and a Silver Band with ice tea on the side. Imported little floaty icebergs are chilling the tea to a much better drinking temperature.
