Weybridge in a Peterson 80S. Sometimes I think I ought to move in to a tent. Then when it's gets to be too much of a mess, I could just shake it all out and move a couple of hundred yards away. 18C(64F)H46%

Well it's normally used for aromatics, but I'm smoking Kendal Dark in the Winslow Crown because I feel like it and it's my pipe and my tobacco and my house, darn it!:puffy:

That may sound tempting now but every time you move you have to dig a new crapper. (Just something to consider.)

    University Flake in a Pete.

Just smoked a bowl of Epiphany. Just realized it was WAAAAY to dry. Gonna have to rehydrate.

In other news, my brand new Dr. Grabow Omega just arrived from the factory, after that awful christining bowl, its time for some trusty Carter Hall.

Changed my mind. It feels like a Carter Hall/bent Washington day.

Solani Aged Burley Flake in a Patriot. It's a Burley kinda day. Should be about done with this by the time the nasty storms kick in. Tornadoes in CT is unheard of! Listening to some Old Crow Medicine to help calm the nerves.

Afternoon PSF. A real treat this afternoon - a 50/50 mix of Gawith Red and Chocolate silk, received in a recent trade. While Gawith Red is said to closely approximate the original Amphora Red, I have it on the best authority that the addition of Chocolate Silk (a McClelland Blend for the Greater Kansas City Pipe Club) seals the deal. All I know is that I am in pipe-smoking nirvana. For those of us who fly our freak Aro flags high (slings and arrows be damned) this is a must. The fact its a homemade/custom recipe adds to the fun.

After reading all the hoopla I wanted to try five brothers.Got it this morning, First I smoked it straight in a briar. It is strong indeed. It is not as rough as Ive read. I smoked three bowls in a row. it taste peppery and was smoother than expected,I detected some nutty flavor, It does burn fast and hot.It is kinda stringy, but similair in appearence to cigarette tobacco. I like it alot. :)
But to try something different and its real good as well is lower bowl 50 percent BCA topped of with 50 percent FB
holy cow! thats a good smoke.
