Mac Baren Old Dark Fired in a blasted Jirsa (one star) tonight... I laid out a few flakes 3hrs ago and they rubbed out nicely. After a couple of false lights this blend seems to burn really well. I'm finding this a noticeably cool smoke and it has given me zero bite so far. Flavors are deep/smokey earth and wood, without any spice. It seems to smoke very smoothly for such a young tobacco. I can't wait to see what it is like after a few years in the tin.

I just fired up the BST, filled with Irish Flake (ALWAYS a good combination!)

I don't know if they've changed the IF presentation yet like they have the UF, but this is still the narrow chewing-gum type flakes. I love em. One flake just barely misses the mark on filling this bowl, though, even when fully rubbed, so a little Kentucky Club made for fine kindling

Studied some logic. Tried GL Pease Telegraph Hill in my DrG discount,, then in my ugly dog. Since I'm still a little foolhardy for Va's, I'm just enjoying some London Mixture in my Viking.

    All these tobaccos from Spill!

Good evening everyone. Muddy Waters is playing tonight. Manish Boy to be exact. Christmas Cheer 2009 in a rather small pipe, this pipe makes me rather prone to tongue bite, but i've been neglecting it. Careful puffing time.

Lancer Slices in a Neerup this fine evening. Nice temperature out, 63F with a low of 59F.

Hope everyone has a nice evening and a nice beginning to your week tomorrow. I know I sure will, one way or another.

Earlier today I had some Uhle's. 00 in a Comoy's Billiard. Tonight it was McClelland's #24 in a Sav Opera Billiard.

Weybridge in a a medium IMP meerschaum. Green tea on crushed ice. Watched half an hour of Minority Report but I just keep laughing every time I see Tom Cruise, so shut it off. 12C(53F)H71%

Ok, I'm having one more bowl. Reiner LGF in the Northern Briars. I need to order a couple tins of this stuff to cellar, it's incredibly good. Wish it was cheaper, but hey, quality comes at a price.

    Good Morning Gents,
Edgeworth RR in a Kaywoodie Dad's pipe which is a Bent Billiard. I'm having some Kenyan black coffee with it for my ride in.

Been feeling bad with a summer cold or virus so have not smoked the pipe much this weekend. I am staying home rather than possibly infecting my co-workers, but I feel like trying a bowl of CH in my Dr.G Westbrook. If that goes well I will try SWR in a Sav later. Nice rain Saturday (over an inch and a half) led to clear skys yesterday and a cool 63F this morning in North Florida. Cool mornings staying around for a few days.
