    Good Morning,

A beautiful start to Tuesday here, 44F and a wide open and starry sky.

Lol... Same here. Hey you had a Pinto. My father never owned/bought a nice car. Since he worked so close to home his mentality was I don't need something nice to drive for 10 mins a day so he would always buy these leftover reject Telephone Company cars for 100 dollars. Our annual "trip" to the shore was in a rusty green 64 Amc Rambler between 76-82! Back then when littering wasn't frowned upon we use to drop our trash out of the hole in the floor instead of tossing it out the window like everyone did.

    Good Morning Gents,
Compton's Balkan Mixture in my Davorin Morta Bent Half Tulip with my morning black coffee.

Beautiful brisk morning here in NJ. Eerily similar to the morning the towers were hit. And it's a Tuesday as well.

Actually managed two bowls yesterday and this gold/alergy seems to be improving. Starting today with Edgeworth RR Match in a Sav Luxor with strong black coffee on the side. I am not sure what's next, but I have several samples I want to finish up. I hate having six or seven jars sitting around with a bowl or two of toby left.

Peterson's Old Dublin in a Legend. No coffee yet, just in case I decide to go back to bed.

Heirlooms did not do so well this year as we've had a crappy summer, no sun until the end of July. I've got plenty at a good size but they are not going to ripen. Happily I intended the heirlooms for fried green tomatoes. We have other varieties for sandwiches and salads. Being a transplanted southerner I feel it is my duty to introduce friends and acquaintances to traditional Southern food. Okra, fried green tomatoes, collards, real corn bread, grits, etc. Everything but the grits are big hits. Just as well. I have to get my grits sent up from the States and I'm happy not to share my stash.:) I often make a couple of gallons of gumbo for New Years Eve. People knock on my door for days, with bowls and even sauce pans in their hands hoping there is some left.

Irish Oak in a MM Cob. It's a gorgeous day in Mass. Low 60's, no humidity, clear skies. This is mainly why I love New England. But like all good things, it's going to leave as 80 degree weather comes back tomorrow. This is also my first smoke in nearly a week. Had a wicked canker sore that finally healed up by this morning, Man that was brutal. Actually hurt to smoke and talk, which didn't bother the wife one bit.

Since I'm in the middle of a heat wave, Peterson's Summertime 2012 in a Peterson 80s feels appropriate. 5C(41F)H50%
