I love Saturdays, because I can get in at least 5 pipes. First up was Kendal Kentucky in a H&B monster cob. Now it's Bosun Cut Plug in a Pete XL02.

    Morning, gents.

McClelland 2010 in a Pietenpauw tomato.

Sheez Spillproof, I turned 56 a couple months ago. You don't want to know about the slippery slope to 60!

I just put out some vintage MB Symphony to air for a couple of hours. Time to brave this leaf in an (underloved) Iwan Ries Blackruff volcano with the hope that most of the topping has really dissipated with time.

I smoked my first bowl of Uhle's 00 Blend Burley last night in a CG cob. It was very good. Glad I got a pound of it.

    Happy birthday John.
Woke up yesterday feeling rather puny. Piper Mike was over so we had a bowl togeather. Interesting day today. I woke up about 8 a.m. (late for me) had my usual CH, Cob, Coffee and, now with a full blown end of summer cold, I wound up Driving Miss Daisy (for those who don't know, Miss Daisy is my wife of 45 years) around town to buy groceries, etc., etc. I did stop at a cig shop for some Carter Hall. Now home and contemplating cooking sirloin and taters on the grill. Think I will have a bowl of Red Cake in one of my smaller bowl pipes, probably a Stanwell Royal Danish. Probably a nice scotch on the rocks or two. Whiskey is good for a cold, r i g h t?
