Well folks 24 years ago today, on top of Squaw Mountain in Maine, I took a wife. For richer or poorer, in sickness and in health we've seen it all, and she still stands by me. When you take into consideration all the mistakes I've made I can't imagine how I managed to do such a good job picking a wife.

I'm smoking some Margate in a Larson prince, lots o coffee. I think today will be a day of pipe smoking, reflection and gratitude.

    Congrats, Tex Healer.

Breaking in the new and very cute little BBB billiard with sugar barrell. As usual, review inbound in the appropriate section.

    Congrats Texhealer!
Good to hear everything went well Sante!
Thanks for the post Sid, I didn't know Maria Callas has sung Summertime, what a badass messa di voce and such a highly elegant glissando at the end of the song. Fantastic!

    Good afternoon all,

After a full week of sweet tobaccos I've switched to Frog Morton Cellar in my Brigham billiard. Just crawled under the bed to retrieve the winter clothes.

University flake in a Viprati. Much better with some drying time, fold and stuff/cannonball. Used a trick one if the guys in the pipe club mentioned. I dried it on the toaster :)

Stormy has passed, the MC2000 was fantastic, as always, the Capitello Corinzio Vergin is filled with Warrior Plug for the next pipe, I love this pipe and always considered Capitello the poor man's Castello, it never gives a bad smoke, too bad they are only available on the estate market now. Might have to drum up a double espresso topped concentrated once I've eaten something.

Congrats Texhealer and so glad all went well F&B! Having some Fusilier's Ration in the Dr Grabow Starfire bent Author. With Maxwell House to sweep away the cob webs from sleeping in. Been searching the world wide web for some deals on briar, down to my last 3 blocks. Oh well, time for another cup.

The Last Hand of whole leaf natural virginian from 1999 has been properly rehydrated and cut
I draped a paper towel soaked in whiskey and then steamed the leaves for a few minutes
later mixed with other fine tobaccos and currently have a hockey puck in the press
