Learned a lesson this morning. Last night after smoking Old Dublin and Irish Oak, had Honey & Chocolate (emptied tin and started on care package Morse sent! Thanks!) I decided to fill the large bent Peterson with Irish Flake for the Wednesday morning smoke. Wrong move. Smoked it this morning and it is certainly not the first pipe of the day sort of smoke!

Hang in there, WalkinStick. Here's what Dr. Gregory House looked like at your age :whis:

Yet another bowl of Nutty Cut, this time in a straight MM Legend ...

Ah, caught up, arose later than normal but chipper and less unstable, not perfect but it's a start. Had a bowl of Robert Lewis 123 Mixture in the blue and white Forever Stemmed MM Diplomat and the original MM Diplomat with Wellington Forever Stem is loaded with Strang Curly Strang, thanks to the Dr. in the house, for a little later. PRM #2 is waning and #3 about to replace it, Khave strong and black, of course. Good morning PSFer's a bright chilly morning in southern Maine. :bing:

Good morning pipers, Night Train in the Egg, black coffee. This is not a Sally, Suzy, or Nancy. I see why you like this Southbound. Good stuff.

Nice morning here, I actually put on a jacket to go outside earlier. Waking up with some Drama Reserve in my PSF 2013 POY and coffee on the side.

See now to my way of thinking, avoid means to stay away from or to maintain a distance from. To me that just screams ...churchwarden ;)

Smoking 965 match in a Larson I just restemed. Lots of coffee.

Trying to start later in the day so it's at least a little light outside isn't working. Painter Hills in a MM Legend for my morning walk in the dark. LEO in a Peterson 80s has a very toasty room note this morning that is a perfect complement to the illy coffee steeping in the press. Raining lightly, 7C(45F)H96%

Glorious bowl of Frog Morton Cellar in my Pete bulldog in a sun drenched garden with hot coffee. Especially nice as yesterday I was unable to get out for a smoke all day. This morning I could see my breath in the air and walked into three spiderwebs, sure signs of a fast encroaching Fall! I'm waiting to hear back fro an editor before I proceed on a project and may go for a bike ride.

Beautiful weather for walkabout, one happy boy is Levi and and equally happy boy is moi with an exceptional smoke of Three Nun's from the 80's in the Amorelli Sea Urchin. If you find one of these pipes, grab one, it is truly underrated and not at all pricey, PRM #8 strong and black, Khave, getting prepared for Nordic Walking Class.

I tried something new this morning. Had a bowl of 965 topped with CH. Never thought 2 very different tobaccos in the same bowl would be that good but it was my friends! I am going to flip the two this afternoon and see how that turns out.

Good idea but I don't have a CW. Guess I should order a CW Forever stem for one of my cobs in case I have to "avoid" in the future.

Finished in the shop this morning, and having some CH in my Derringer with Maxwell House. Taking about 10 cobs with me to the show including the 2 from the competition. Just a couple more days!

Bowl number two of Plum Cake in the Country Gent. The rain has finally stopped and we have a little sunshine, enjoying the garden while I can.

Back from another smoke in the garden. It's a lot warmer than it was earlier but still very pleasant. Smoking some Essence of Vermont which just arrived from 4Noggins. Nice light smoke.

Sunny and warming into a false summer this week. All the pepper plants are sporting little white flowers: false hope is perhaps better than no hope. Finished the morning "burleys" and on to C&D Three Friars in a Mastro de Paja billiard. Being Wednesday, I'll be having an expresso with two humps of sugar. Puff on.
