What a day. Miss Daisy drug me around town all day but we got the errands ran, food in the pantry and gas in the SUV. We had lunch at our favorite pizza place; whole wheat pie with roasted tomatoes and fresh mushrooms. The weather was nice so we chose an outdoor table which was ok with me because I had not finished my bowl of Bears Blend in a Sav Tris 122 with replacement stem. Got several smiles and a couple of "smells good".

Tonight it is a simple smoke. Carter Hall in a Diplomat with a Merlot on the side. I smok different tobaccos (burleys, VAs and and occasional aro) but CH is always a dependable smoke either in briar or cob, but cobs are the bbest.

Reds and Pirates have starting playing. I'm having a late dinner, but I don't mind because I'm passing the time with St. James Flake in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer. I thought about smoking this all day long, and now's my chance!!

I'm smoking a bowl of Escudo in one of my no name meer lined briars at the moment. I'd forgotten how light this thing is. It's not much different than a small-ish cob, weight wise.

Had a nice bowl of Pirate Kake in the MM Diplomat with blue and white Forever Stem, thank mecompco, and the last pipe of the night I decided to stretch out a bit so I went with the Tim West Panel with Plateau Top filled with Latakia Flake, mmm, great way to unwind for the sheets. See you folks in about 4 and I'll probably still be ahead of Thurber! ;)

Happy pipe smoking Aniversary, Simon! That Morta is a beaut!

I'm smoking PS LTF in my MM Diplomat, because I walked off and left the Dunhill Royal Yacht on the bench this morning. Puff on PSFers!

Gave Jenn's Zulu an hours rest--had a flake of McB's Vanilla in the Paykoc Meer. Back to the Zulu (treated it to a pipe cleaner) with a bowl of Dan's Honey Dew. Quite nice. The oil cans are long gone, so have moved on to a couple whiskey sours to finish off the Friday night relaxation.

Just in the nick of time, my Peretti order arrived. So I'm smoking Scottish Flake in the Squatch Lean Volcano. Gonna have to run to the grocery for supplies, but I think I might have cheese grits with devilled ham and an avocado on the side. And then it'll be smokin' time!!

I've been on a Lakeland adventure for the past couple of weeks, but have been enjoying my old standby, Frog Morton on the Town most of the day. Currently smoking a bowl of FMOTT in a Ser Jacopo billiard.

Time for some PS Lux. Burley Flake in a Bj (mushroom?). Spent the last two hours cleaning the guest bedroom and bath. I can't tell you how much I love having the in-laws. They don't say anything about the pipe ANYMORE. So everyone have a nice weekend for me. Thanks. Dang Photobucket is down for fix'in, honest.

it might be small and light, but it's one of the coolest smoking pipes I have :msty:
with a MM plastic, amber, stem that will not pass a cleaner past the bend, it might get tweaked :whis:
