Enjoyed a good walk with Irish Oak in a MM Legend. Just cool enough to safely empty the wasp traps in to the compost bin. Prairie Wind in the Rekamepip octagonal cob (Thank you John) and overproof illy coffee out of the press. 7C(45F)H78%

Sitting on the dock by the canal behind Dutch granny and grandpa's having a bowl of PC in the country gent. Waiting for an eight pound octopus to be prepared for dinner, part in a starter salad and the rest in pasta. This is being prepared by my Sicilian born wife and of course will include Sicilian wine.

First Pint in the Red Lion was Samuel Smiths, Tadcaster Brewery, Old Brewery Bitter and that cost £1.80, the ButzChoquin with York-Shire Plantation mix Free !
Second Pint was the same £3.60 spent, and smoked a Falcon for Old Ted with more Free Tobacco
    [IMG]
Third Pint the same and £5.40 (just over 1/2) the weeks Pocket Money spent, this time with the Birthday (Feb 26) pipe from Mrs Wicker just has Italy on stem ?

It wasn't cold but We had the Beer garden to ourselves with just the usual huddle of ciggy smokers having a quick puff at the Pub back door !

Caught the W of MD Bus back (more Snuff) and I'm cooking Tea again as Mrs Wicker's still away visiting the youngest Daughter Justine in Italy

Woke up at 1:30 and laid there then at some point fell back to unconscious as I finally arose at 8:18 with my head wanting to explode. 2 cobs and 4 PRM's later I was coming around then 2 more PRM's and decided to waltz through the posts. Loaded the Tsuge Tankard with Troost Slices dedicated to TedVig, get well mate, and Levi and I headed to the SL500 for some tunes and walkabout.

All went well, my boy tuckered himself out, a tired Weimaraner is a happy Weimaraner! Hit the Farmer's Market and got some freshly picked wild native cranberries, potato apple cinnamon doughnuts and a Sicilian Rustic When Pigs Fly bread.....

Hit a yard sale on the way home and picked up a really nice flashlight, 20 archival storage containers for my fly rod catalog collection, a block plane that I'll clean up and put on the prize table at Super 'Boo in Feb. where some bamboo rod maker will be a very happy camper since these usually go around $50 if you can find them I paid $2 and the last item is at least pipe related in that I picked up a really nice plate shaped like a leaf which I will use to dry my tobacco in, will post a photo the next drying time. Happy Sat. PSFer's! :bing:

It's Five O'Clock Somewhere, so have poured a whiskey sour. Enjoying my first ever smoke in a Grabow (thanks to The Mayor's contribution to the box pass). Have fired up some Escudo (also from the box pass). Life is good!

Got an apple pie in the oven. I like doing manly things. Now I´m gonna sit down, on my balcony, and smoke a pipe. My Pete Aran 15 filled with Conoisseurs Choice. An X-strong swedish lager on the side.

Stormy is parked outside since midnight, 4" in the rain gauge, and his bladder isn't empty yet. Guess I'll struggle through some equipment maintenance, DFU in the Sherlock Holmes. :toast: Berg.
