I only go to this supermarket four times a year to pick-up my meds and booze (boy that sounds bad), so the stuff has to last. Plus it is the best way to get the older kids to visit. If you live near come on over!

We'll, finally went and had my eyes checked after being stubborn for 7 years.... (The headache said it was time). Alas, I am officially a Codger now, and will be sporting bifocals....

Contemplating life now with PS LTF in a Savinelli pot. :sailor:

    Good afternoon PSFers

Gorgeous day outside, so I did back to back bowls. First was Patriot Flake in a Wiley freehand. Next was Briar Fox in a Rad Davis hickory nut.

Back home this eve with bowl number two of Squadron Leader in the MM Diplomat.

Here is a candid shot of pops from this afternoon smoking the pipe that I got him for Christmas in 1981

Well, since 1pm yesterday I've worked 23 hours. I'm finally off though, and I have tomorrow off too. While I play catch up, I'm having a nice dinner of grains, hops, corn, and cake.

For TedVig and PipeSimmo, 1792 and Lancer's Slices in a BST Compact Little Brute. That smoke ought to kill whatever's making you two feeling off. Now, breathe deeply, and after coughing up a lung you'll be fine in the morning.

Oh, and since you all are waiting to hear, the AC race is postponed till tomorrow.

Kendal Dark in the Royal Coachman bulldog. Going to the opera tonight...it's a shame they don't let you smoke during the show.

Braves and Cubbies are tied 1-1 in the 8th, the Indians lead the Astros (as has just about everybody this year) 3-0 in the 2nd. Thanks to Furious, I'm smoking 1960's Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2003 IMP horn Meer. A bottle of Boylan's Root Beer is my drink. If you've never tried this root beer, it's a little pricey, but it's rich in flavor.

Baldheaded Teacher by 4noggins. It's now my all-time favorite. (OK, it also depends on my mood and what I'm hungry for...but I LOVE this stuff. It's savory, sweet, a little smokey all at once. I could buy this by the pound if the boss would let me.)

Boylan's is one of the non alcoholic drinks the wholesaler I work for carries. Jim's not kidding. It's seriously good stuff. Their creme soda is possibly the best I've ever had.

Afternoon, folks. Having some Park Square in a group 4 Dunhill Shell LBS from 1962. Gonna have to order some of this ASAP. I had never had a proprietary hand-blended, non-tinned VaPer that I liked until I tried this. Thanks again to Mr. Stick for the Peretti's samples. They're all great, seriously. Those guys really know how to blend some tobacco; you can tell they've been doing it for a long time.

It's a grey and rainy day here in Alabama. It's a welcome relief after the past two or three weeks of non-stop sun and heat. Forecast is still showing mid to high 80's for the highs this week, but hopefully we'll be transitioning to cool temperatures before too long. There's only so much a man can take. :)
