It's a beautiful, cool, crisp, Sunday morning in Indiana.
Me and the dog are on the front porch swing, and I've just fired my weekly bowl of Germains Special Latakia Flake in the Old Ted Apple.
Life doesn't get much better than this!

Cloudy, cool and humid in Delaware this morning. Strange smoking day so far. CH in the Dr. Grabow Savoy. Followed that with Velvet in a mm cob. Then another bowl of CH in a mm cob. Nothing is really working so far.

Little bit more cold here in Athens today. Temperature in about 25 Celcium degrees. Spent the morning smoking a bowl of Hearth & Home: "Berry Nice".

Yes I have, Sir. I finally finished that awful LBF, and now I'm smoking my long-anticipated Mixture No. 79 in a dedicated bent MM Pride ... with a neatly centered label on the bottom attesting to the pipe's exclusivity.

This stuff is delicious, but it makes you see the world differently. M79 is America's analogue of Condor, uniquely fragrant with positive smoking characteristics. It's been around since 1849 ... and it still hasn't sold out.

    Good Morning,

Off to the wild world of shopping today. The girls need some clothes, and Rachel needs some backup braving the stores. Before shopping, she'll be buying me a nice lunch of fish and chips and a couple Speckled Hens, just to get me fortified.

    Pirate Kake, in a Squatch.

Welcome to fall...as seems fitting, I will be splitting firewood. This time for the neighbor in repayment of labor provided. So I think it's going to be a latakia day...OI and TR specifically. Competition for the burning leaves of fall.

Beautiful first day of fall here in my part of Texas. Just got back from early Mass filling up on warmed over coffee and fresh doughnuts. Gonna load up a bowl of Tilbury in a chubby Mario Grandi and open up the windows in the sunroom. I really need to clean some briars that I didn't get around to yesterday before the Cowboy game at noon. Afterwards I'm grilling some flounder that my son and I caught last weekend. May open up a new to me Esoterica blend IF the Cowboys win. Y'all have a fine, fine 1st day of Fall!
