Warm and foggy morning here in the Florida panhandle, big bend area. Smoking CH in a cob and drinking black "office brewed" coffee. Have a good day all.

Hooked up to my ivIG bottle #1 with 3 to go. Got a large Panera black coffee and will see what tasty treats the drug rep brought when I go for a refill. :D

    Hello everyone,
It's been awhile since I have posted here. A lot has gone on. I said goodbye to a great friend and ushered in a new grandson. Liam was born on 9/19/2013 at 1:28PM and was 8lb 8 oz. He is a beautiful boy and joins a brother, Nicholas and sister Ava Rose. We are very proud and blessed. My daughter, who is the light of my life is doing just great and my son in law couldn't beam any brighter if he was to ignite!

I also said goodbye to a great friend. Sidney lost his fight with liver disease.Through some very dark times in my life he was a dear companion. I always took care of him but he thought he was taking care of me. I miss his presence in the house. It seems very empty now. I have Critter, Halle and Bailey but there is a void.

So , between all this stuff, I haven't been much in the mood to fiddlef*&^ on the computer much.
I missed the banter and camaraderie. It's good to be back here again.

I started my day off with Compton's Commonweal in my Ferndown 3* Bark Dublin with a silver band and cumberland stem with black coffee for my ride into work this morning.

    Happy Smoking,
    Paul

I get here late these days. It seems pointless forever post "CH in a cob or Grabow, and industrial strength coffee." Just assume that unless I'm out of CH then I'll be crying the blues.
Right now and for most of the night it was Nightcap in a Grabow. I've smoked enough of the NC to understand why so many speak so highly of it. Right now, NC is THE best. That title is regularly shared by PK, TR, and what ever the future will bring. But right now, I'm really enjoying the NC

Good morning fellas. You know, I think I would be willing to pay extra to remove all the safety interlock switches installed by the manufacturers of mowing equipment in exchange for signing a waiver. :mad:nbg Anniversary Kake in the egg, black coffee. Stupid lawyers.

Morning gents. Another day off work, so it's Rum flake in a cob while I figure out what to smoke next. 8 o'clock coffee and Bailey's.

Paul, I'm glad to see you back. Terribly sorry to hear about your friend but that's a beautiful boy your daughter had, with a strong name. :th1:

Paul, it's damn good to have you back. Congratulations on the grandson, and my sincere condolences on your loss. Sydney looks a lot like my buddy Scotch. Hope those pesky stones are in the rear view. :toast:

Any suggestions for light English blends that I might look for at duty free.

A pleasant change of direction for me this morning, I ran into an old aquaintance - and over coffee, he kindly let me fill my little Altinay with a blend called Acadian Perique, from his pouch. Well I'd never heard of this one, and don't recall any mention around here, but although I never pass judgement on just one or two bowls - it was quite pleasant, and IMO worthy of further trial -that is if I ever saw any!.

Perfect, but instead pronouncing it in one word we'd put it in letters - so quite exactly like Al Pacino's Hoo-ahh, but the other way around - Hahh-Ooh! :beck:

Still no pipe. Very persistant cough. This is the longest break from smoking since I started out smoking a pipe a year ago. :(
Sante: I love your Batson! Amazing blowfish. And the Becker horn is just as incredible.
Puff on PSF'ers and have a great day all!

Edit: Paul - Congratulations on your grandson! Sorry to hear about your loss. Great you're back!
