Listening to MLB talk on the XM as darn near everybody thinks Carlos Gomez of the Brewers is a half wit (I'm being kind here). Had a nice lunch and with a bottle of Sprite for a drink, I'm smoking Capstan Gold Flake in a 1970s GBD Prehistoric Rhodesian 9438 with a perspex stem. I hear the mail truck. Hope for good stuff in the mail. Or at least no bills!

I missed seeing you post about tobaccos that are nearly as old as me. I'm glad you're back :byg:

Well, the mail truck did bring me good stuff. I got a 4Noggins order and some hate from Da Bear. Thanks to our favorite denizen from Jellystone Park, I'm smoking Peretti's Park Square in a 1970s slight bend smooth Danish Sovereign XXX 309 with a flat front sitter.

Nightcap in my Peterson Standard System O. I had finished off a packet of Condor and needed something different. This is my first bowl of Night Cap and the strong flavor is fantastic! I'm enjoying stronger flavors. More and more. Night Cap reminds me of Early Morning Pipe on steroids!

I just got Peterson Club's '13 POY in the mail (a blast and Celtic banded XL23 named in honor of The Sandpiper on that forum) and I put first some Newminster Navy Flake and then some McC 5115 Old World Cake through it.

Agreed! Good to see you Paul. Hope all is well.

Smoking the last bowl of my first tin of Elizabethan Mixture in a group 4 Dunhill Shell LBS billiard. I like this tobacco a lot, definitely enough to order some tins to squirrel away. And the other great thing about Dunhill blends, aside from great taste, is that they're really cheap. I really love that! :D

Erinmore Flake in a Brigham billiard. Tried the folding method of loading the pipe and it smokes better than I imagined it would.

I'd say we've got another Latakiaphile in the making. Welcome aboard!

Smoking Classic Burley Kake in the Rekamepip bark rusticated walnut cone. Drinking almost enough coffee to get to work.

I figure somebody might ask to see it, so I thought I could put up a quick pic. The photo is a little bright/washed out, but this shows off the blast better than the darker one I took.

Having some MacB Club Blend in my Growley Blasted Zulu. Shortest pipe I own at 5.5" but a size 4. Almost draws on its own.

4Noggins threw in a couple of samples with my order and this is one of them: Weybridge in a 2003 straight grain Karl Erik Ekstravagant A medium bend freehand sitter. I've been wanting to try this one for a while... like all I need is something else to like and want to buy!! Hhhmmmm... where is that Saint Bernard???
