A bowl of Dunhill Flake in my new Savinelli Trevi Rustic.
Looong but very productive day on the boat. Slowly gaining the trust of the men. The wife is out if town with my little girl and my dog, quiet here and chilly tonight in the shed. DTGd a bowl of Ennerdale, then smoked some Burley Flake #3, and now onto a bowl of Irish Flake. Early morning tomorrow to berth shift the boat and hopefully one step closer to making Her sea worthy!
Watching Mariano Rivera pitch for the final time in Yankee Stadium. The sell out crowd is on their feet as well as every player on both teams. I'm on my feet for this bowl of Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature with refugee li'l icebergs is my drink.
Strang (thanks Walkinstick) in my Julius Vesz Birthday Dublin. This is good stuff.
Well , I'm into the 607 KS filled with Germains Royal Jersey Perique [ GRJP ].......... This pipe smokes like my Basil Meadows touched by God pipe ! The smoke waits for you at the end of the stem and I just lightly draw and there it is .... wonderful ! I've gone with the KS [ king size ] which arent giants but they are what I consider a full sized pipe . I have plenty of smaller bowled pipes for work ... but these arent going to work with me ... ever . For 66 bucks , I dont think these pipes can be beat
Had a very long and successful day, so now that I'm finally home I'm smoking 2006 Mclelland #27 matured Virginia in my straight Legend.
New Arizona Strawberry Arnold Palmer to drink.
Thanks to dBear I am smoking Dockworker in a Kaywoodie PSF 2013 POY.
Smoking father Dempsey in the meer. I am really liking this stuff. Thanks again Ron.
Loading up some Sutliff Old Vienna in my Brigham Voyageur, to be accompanied by the cool fall air, and some Bible reading.
MacBaren Club Blend in the Dr. G. Cardinal to relax after a looong day.
Try GLPease Sextant in the Cherrywood pipe
that and a fresh cup of hot coffee ( maybe the Jamaican Blue Mountain )
finishing up a long day with clay beer stein filled with hot coffee and a couple puffs of home blended tobacco in rock cob
Working, listening to MLB talk on the XM, and smoking HH Vintage Syrian in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg. This tobacco is very smooth smoking.
Campaign Dark Flake in an Astley bent with a large brandy.
Warming up the black rock cob before Rocktoberfest with some Peretti Midnight.
I'm havin' some more McClelland's St. James Woods from '91, this time in a Sav Opera Billiard with ice tea. Chilled to the proper temperature, of course. Oh, by the way, there are floaty little icebergs in the glass. I wouldn't want JimInks to think he cornered the market with properly chilled drinks!
Same here, with Irish Flake in an Astleys ...
Think I'm gonna go for some Nightcap in my Savinelli Dublin before bed.
On the contrary, I'm glad to see you carry on the proud tradition of proper drinking! Restores my faith in humanity, it does!
Happy as hell to see you back here, buddy!!
Paul, welcome back. Congratulations on the birth of your grandson, and my sincere condolences on the loss of Sidney.
