Thanks! That lighter band of mineral
was a bugger as it's a bit harder than
    the rest of the stone.

Indeed. I wish I would have found
it ahead of time. I would have
    incorporated it around the rim.

Thuber - love your new Pete! I'm still looking for a Pete like that, either a Squire, a Hudson or a 999, with such an awesome stem! Congrats on your Harpo!
Time for some Kickin' Chicken - thank you psquared! - in a DGE briar poker nosewarmer with nice grain.

Short smoke theater starts with A Taste of Summer in a straight 2012 MM Mizzou cob. In other words, I'm smoking lighter tobaccos while company is here. A can of Mountain Dew is my drink.

I dub this pipe Stonefal Snake in the Dust. :ngty: OBTW if you know ho many threads per inch the threads are you could buy a tap with the proper TPI and cut it so only the cutting threads show and it can then be used to resuscitate any Falcon pipe you may need to clean that calcification out of, cheaper in the long run and saves bowls.

Now I'm having some Red Ribbon in the Wallenstein Nosewarmer for me and Morse, will have a concentrated cup of Brazilian Cerrado with a double Cuban espresso on top.

Started late today, in a manly fashion with JKP in a Grabow with the normal industrial strength coffee. Somewhat to my surprise the JKP is not a bad start to the day, although I still prefer a straight burley for the morning. I like this plug more every time I smoke it.

So I finished the St. Bruno and decided that I wasn't done smoking yet. I need a lat fix, so I've fired up a bowl of GLP Raven's Wing from 2004 thanks to Psquared..... and the boss lady walked out onto the porch. Which she hardly ever does when I'm smoking.

She asks me "Which one is that?" and I tell her the whole story. The warehouse fire thing, all that business. She asked if it came from Berg or Psquared, then told me to tell you both that it smells like a "dirty ass hippie campfire".
Edit: That is a direct quote. I almost choked on the smoke laughing.

"Hippie campfire"? No wonder Berg foisted it off on me, he is averse to all things hippie.
