Now smoking Maple Street in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple. My company likes this one.

Hello. Elizabethan Mixture in a Northern Briars billiard, sitting in the park on campus at my university. It's really comfortable in the shade with a nice breeze blowing.

Man this tobacco is good! So rich and complex. And it's nice to finally have this blend because I love VaPers and I love the cut of Dunhill tobacco because it is so easy to pack and burns so well. I get tired of fiddling with flakes sometimes. Oh yeah, and another good thing: that characteristic Dunhill nicotine hit. That's a major plus for this nic junkie as well.

Thank you, it's one of my favorites, sports a pewter leaping trout and a Weimaraner, if I could find a pewter pipe and banjo they would be there as well, hope to add a buck this weekend if the pin man is at the Rodmaker's Gathering at the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum, if anyone is in the Roscoe NY area the event is open to the public on Sunday and I'd be happy to share a pipe with anyone that can make it, I'll be wearing that cap, cheers.........

"King's Court" in the straight Falcon apple. King's Court is kind of interesting as I don't actually know what it is, that is what it was called in the bulk jar (Northwoods Tobacco, Jacksonville NC) and the guy working the shop was new and wasn't able to tell me what it might be. Seems to be mostly burley, light aromatic, no black tobacco, all light brown ribbon cut.

I am so torn by this posting. A part of me is terribly impressed with the boss lady for associating (to her) a noxious odor with hippies (and rightfully so, God bless her), yet I'm equally unimpressed that our young hero has not built, in Mlle. Boss Lady's imagination, a picture of old, leather bound books and chairs, fine whisky, conversation and a roaring fire whenever the fine scent of Latakia enters her nostrils.

Young jedi, there is still much work to be done.....

Me, I'm smoking Old Ironsides in a Castello, hoping to hell the aroma goes away before my wife gets home.

Company's gone now, and I was tempted to smoke something strong now, but I think my sweet tooth won out, so I'm smoking 1980s Sir Walter Raleigh in a medium bend beater 1979 Aalborg natural freehand made by Nording. A can of 7-Up is my drink.

I may end up having to take the Pavlovian approach. I'll just smoke Lat blends whenever she needs the credit card.

Just finished off a good bowl of Prairie Wind in a little Butz Choquin that always travels with me. Now in to the airport and all the usual entertainment going through security blah blah blah. Perhaps I shouldn't have smoked this since it always leaves a smile on my mug that aggravates those that take themselves too seriously.
