Hyde Park in a Peterson 80s. This 80s is an Irish Harp that I haven't smoked in quite some time, and is it ever bringing out flavours in the Hyde Park. The glass of crushed ice will probably be completely melted by the time I finish being entranced by this smoke. Warmed up some today but at least the humidity is low. 27C(81F)H31%

DOCKWORKER IN THE HOUSE! DOCKWORKER IN THE HOUSE!! Thanks to the help of our inestimable PipeSimmo, I received new tins of Dockworker in my mailbox today. I've got a bowl going right now in the Squatch prince with nothing on the side because this blend tastes SOOOOO good!

Last pipe of the night is the Askwith Morta Rhodesian with Olive Wood Cap filled with Marlin Flake. Got everything packed for the trip to the Catskills Museum Gathering tomorrow right after my eye Dr. appointment I'll head over to my friends house and we leave from there and will return on Sunday. Until the sheets release me in the morrow I bid you all a great evening of puffing and will see you in 3-4 or so.

Good evening everyone! Home now. Good old truck No.60 held her head high today. Three hundred miles on the nose. A couple stops in Litchfield, IL., A couple stops in Taylorville, IL., and six stops in Decatur, IL., then back to St. Louis, MO. It was a beautiful day for a long drive. I was able to get some smoking done too.
Now I'm smoking PS LTF that I loaded into the MM CG w/Forever Stem for the ride home. To my surprise I'm only three pages behind on this thread. Keep smoking. I'll catch up!

    What a better way to
    spend the day off than
    to smoke all day long.
    :ohyh:
    Repeat of last smoke:
    BBF in the clay.

    Wait.... Did we just
    have a Dub sighting???

Just opened a tin of Full Virginia Flake I had purchased back in Feb 2010 and not for the first time I thought you really haven't tried Virginias until you've had some with some serious age on it. Upon opening the tin I had to resist the urge to eat the contents because of the soft sweet smell or dried fruit coming off it. Broke up a flake and let it sit for 15 minutes before loading it into my punto oro and putting the match to it. What followed was the smoothest, softest, sweetest slightly earthy smoke. If anyone doubts the power of elder toby let them put a few years on a good Virginia and eat their words. I'm only sad because this is my second to last tin of this vintage (I had had ten) and as I had fallen on hard times since this batch I won't have any similarly aged to replace it once that last tin is gone and that will be a very sad day.

Just finished smoking FVF in a small 1982 three quarter bend meer with a smiling turbaned Turk's head. On my way to get my next smoke and drink.
