Breaking in a custom freehand with Anniversary Kake and a glass of merlot.
Still working, still drinking ice water, still listening to MLB talk on the XM, and now smoking Louisiana Red in an egg shaped medium bend smooth Burgundy colored 1985 Caminetto. Hooray for perique!!
The final one tonight. Elizabethan Mixture in the Ashton Brindle XX Canadian. I have to say, this is pretty darned good. If the old stuff was better, it was probably a top blend, but this tobacco definitely is getting consideration for the cellar.
Psf's very own Kickin Chicken in a Ben wade that came my way via this forum too. Yep...... It's a pretty special place we've got here!
Listening to radio shows from my own collection as I work, and smoking Rekamepip's Pressed August Blend in a 2013 slight bend grain etched briar Rekamepip Volcano with a walnut shank.
Well, that was so good I'm giving it a repeat. Loading up Rekamepip's RC English, this time in the PSF POY 2013. Unfortunately, I also have to work, but the POY is a good clencher.
I must have missed it.., what's rekamipips RC English?
Vintage Syrian in the Green Monster. Inflicting my own chemical weapons attack on my liver.
Princes Street in a freshly and completely cleaned BST Canadian. Shank brushes work. Did I mention that doing a really thorough cleaning with a shank brush makes a noticeable difference? A last little bit of Laphroaig and the rest of this very pleasant smoke outside where it's stopped raining, and it's off to hit the sack. Goodnight all.
Bulliet rye is assaulting my liver as we smoke!
It's a blend that Rekamepip blended. My first post (http://pipesmokersforum.com/communi...king-september-2013.31864/page-58#post-666885) didn't really make that part clear. Sorry.
This second bowl is as good as the first one was.
Three friars in a sav Canadian
Listening to Jack Benny, working and smoking Barbados Plantation in the second pipe I ever bought ($2.49); a 1974 three quarter bend black sandblast etched Dr. Grabow Omega.
I'm a few minutes away from smoking Rekamepip's "Sinphony" Mix in a straight 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe. And still at work.
A busy morning with chores (including jarring some FVF) & now some work. Beautiful day - hazy & cool right now. McC 2015 in a Pete 314 - my first pipe.
Last bowl before hitting the hay is Dockworker in the Squatch prince.
Celebratory bowl of Va Flake in the cob, after waking up and finding that the Wolverines defeated the Irish. I am a Michigander through and through since all but the last ten years of my were spent there, born and raised, true blue.
Last smoke before sleep is Maple Street in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple. Just finished working and am gonna relax now. See everybody later today.
Quit tormenting Jennifer's cat!!!
