Late afternoon herein Holland, rain has stopped and sun is shining. Smoking Va Flake in the MM Country Gent. I have about two bowls left to finish the tin, than I will work on finishing off the Plum Cake before I return to the states. Anyone have experience with picking up pipe tobacco at duty free, is it worth it and how much are you allowed?

All I have heard its 250 grams. One of our fellows came back with more on a wave thru. It seems worth it if you bring out something from the country you are in that you cant get readily in the states. I would prolly bring back some nasal snuff that has to be ordered from the UK atm. Thats just me.

[IMG] Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. But not me. Hello to PSF-land. Enjoying multiple bowls of OJK layered with Five Bros. in the maize monster; hot pressed french roast on the side. May your smokes be sweet and you sporting teams be victorious.

I'm smoking bowl No.2 on this Sunday morning. I've fully rubbed out a flake of Peter Stockabye Luxury Twist Flake. I then laid it out to dry for twenty minutes. After that I placed the tobacco in the palm of my hand. In my other hand, I took my MM Spoolcob w/straight stem, holding it by the bottom of the bowl upside down. Placing the top of the bowl on the tobacco in my palm, I moved the pipe gently in small circles. This collects the tobacco into the pipe in a spiral load. When it was full I pushed the tobacco down while checking the draw. When the draw was right, I put the remainder of the tobacco into the top of the bowl. Sometimes I like to do things differently. Especially on rainy Sundays, because there's time. Have I ever told you that I love PS LTF. Well, I do. I gotta have some every day. The taste of the VA/CAV is sublime. I like it best in big bowls, simply because I don't want it to end. Someone told me once that when I smoke it, they smell a cake baking. I'm drinking reverse osmosis filtered water, chilled, from the True Value Hardware cold cup. Water, because I don't want anything blocking the flavor of this sweet leaf. Please puff on PSFers!

Just got back from church and the little man is asleep for his nap and so is my wife. That means the hammock and a Ferndown full of 5100/Gawith Black Irish Twist is calling my name.

Boswell Raspberry and Cream in my large meers in the shape of Sherlock Holmes' head. He makes this blend really taste good. But can you imagine the great detective ever smoking a fruit flavored tobacco?

Following JimInk in listening to baseball. Jim listens to XM, I'm having to listen to the Phils-Braves on mlb.com The signal from the pc messes up AM radio reception.

Man, I've been busy. Just non stop work for the last couple days. Finally have a break though. I've got tomorrow off, so I'm going to get some hate mailed out that I'm ashamed to say has been sitting for quite a while. Glad it was all jarred :bag:

Just got home from work, smoking the last bit of my Capstan Blue from 2011 in a Butz Choquin
    :toast: Snake!

Thinking about running to a couple local "smoke" shops and seeing if they have anything good. I'm out of pipe cleaners, and plan on doing some smoking tomorrow.
