Couldn't even tell you. I know there were a couple times I was laughing so hard that I almost blew the tobacco out :laff:

Smoking that MM often will make everything alright with it. Don't worry about the shank. That's just how they make them. After several bowls, the un-smoked dottle will fill in down in the bottom of the bowl. I use the filters for the first five or so bowls, then the draft hole seems to cake up a little bit. You're going to be alright, brother!

More Mac Baron Virginia No.1. This time in my MM egg. Lemonade on the rocks for a drink.

Whew! Happy anniversary Mr. & Mrs Nick. Only 3 pipes today as I'm still trying to find my ass with both hands. First with the 3 PRM's was the MM Mizzou with plum Forever Stem filled with Strang Curly Strang thanks to PipeSimmo, then walkabout with the Tsuge Tankard filled with Strang Curly Strang, again thank you PipeSimmo, then off to Nordic Walking, home for a quick lunch, out to Cancer Support Group, home to have another run of the MM Mizzou with tobacco repeat and catching up here. Might need to find another pipe so I need to unpack a bit!

    but but..what was it man!?

**Edit - I realized as I clicked "send" or whatever..that it doesn't really matter if you're smoking sherlock holmes finest 50yr old stuff or a fresh bag of CH, it's the atmosphere and good company that matter the most. Cheers dude :)

The beer(s) were Widmer Brothers Alchemy ale. The smoke was G&H Rum Flake. Yet another thing that I can blame Berg for hooking me on.

Not the beer choice though. I don't get down with Coors light :bag:

I've only had Widmer Hef but it was pretty good. Good enough that I swirled the sediment in. That's a rarity for me.

The wholesaler that I work for carries Widmer. I had never had one until a couple weeks ago. Seriously good beer. If you like pale ales at all, the alchemy is my go to. I drink a lot of high end IPA's, but I drink it more than anything else.

A gigantic bowl of Dockworker in the Sav 315EX. Being a much wider but also shallower bowl than I've smoked this in before, I seriously overestimated how much flake to stuff in there. Had to give it a haircut with the kitchen scissors! This bowl may take me the rest of the night. Time to go fill up the water glass.

Now smoking 1940s Prince Albert spiced with rum in a 2002 medium bend rusticated Stanwell Golden Danish 139. Getting ready for tonight's baseball games and more work.

    Monday was a Pressing Day
Started out by sorting out the Coloured up Lizard Tail Orinoco Virginia in the Curing Barn
    [IMG]
a door at both ends would help
    [IMG]
Mrs Wicker was out at the shops, so I had the run of the Villa
    [IMG]
the Bear made a comfy chair
    [IMG]
and smoked Plantation mix in the Raganella Briar
    [IMG]
I started shredding with the Pasta cutter
    [IMG]
I’ve been putting the whole leaf through for a while without stripping the centre rib, then picking the big bits out, today it sheared the Monkey metal Chinese star wheel drive cogs. I won’t get another I’ll get the Bear to build a better one, but meanwhile I went back to the Kitchen Herb scissors
    [IMG]
they take a little longer but give a far better shred on one cut where-as the pasta cutter took three cuts through and with a pipe lit and music on it’s quite relaxing. So I got them all shredded
    [IMG]
I sprayed them with the Binder mix left over from the Black Sea Basma Turkish Block Pressing and pressed them into the mould with the round pusher from the stainless Block moulds
    [IMG]
I made up another batch of Binder, this time using Lapsang Souchong Tea instead of just water but the same ingredients as before
    [IMG]
I used the big Blue press a couple of times, but had to work quick as the Block was playing at Jack in the Box, but I managed to get it all in and under the Jacking press
    [IMG]
It worked a treat jacking it down another two White Oak boards, I don’t get allowed to smoke in the kitchen but when Mrs Wicker’s out it’s my workshop Laboratory, So I had the window open.
Edit :- I'll post this in the growing log as well
