Home early from work. Think in going to eat something bad for me out of a can and have a smoke. Thanks to Stormy (who's here, by the way) I'm going to have Essence of Vermont in the ugly little cob that could. Also using the new tamper he sent me. Thanks brother. :toast:

Walked home from the library with a bowl of Kendal Dark in the Wessex Dublin. On the way I heard some astonished kid across the street say something like "that guy's smoking a pipe!" or something to that effect (I only heard part of it..."smoking a pipe," and seemed more shocked than mocking, but who knows or cares?)

Since dBear offered up a no-cake, I've made my own with Paretti's Midnight on the bottom and Ebonny on the top in the Barling Canadian. Got lemonade but wish I had something stronger.:xd:

    Happy Birthday, YAPPG! :bday: bdp

The house search was slightly fruitful. The search will likely continue though. I'm home and relaxing with SWR in the Country Gent, sipping on ice cold water, and listening to The Wilkow Majority on XM. Still have some chores to take care of, but they can wait.

The Pirates lead the Rangers 1-0 in the 3rd. I'm smoking the last of the Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a smooth 1977 Medley (GBD second) medium bend billiard with a flat underside. I have more, but it's jarred and aging - sort of like Yappg! :laff: Happy mirthday to ya!

Got told :blah: I was on chauffeur duties to the shops this morning :(
"but it's fine at the moment and I want to pick some Black Sea Basma Turkish as there's rain forcast this afternoon"
So we went to the shops !
parked up Mrs Wicker went into the supermarket, I got my pipe and lighter out and No Tobacco  it's still in the jar as a Plug
Right I haven't bought any for weeks I'll see what the Supermarket sells ?
Condor, Bruno, Errinmore, Walnut, Gold block,
I was nearly scared off with the Health Warnings on the pack's though  There's none on Teddys York Shire Tobacco !
So I settled for Condor Long cut on remembering going into a Tobacconist in 1965 and buying a Falcon pipe and a packet of Condor because I liked the name's

then did my stringing in the front room [IMG]

before putting it in the Barn

Happy Birthday New YAPPG....uhm - HAPPY NEW BIRTHDAY, Mr YAPPG (but we still celebrate his "old" birthday in march, right?)

HAPPY HAPPY YAPPG! ALL THE BEST - HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY!
As is often the case, I can't decide on what to smoke now. The bowl of Blackpoint I've smoked before has been the greatest Latakia experience I've had so far, best bowl of a lat blend I've ever smoked. I have to get another tin, but this time I will jar it up and let it sit a few months before trying it.
But I don't want to overdo it, a back-to-back bowl probably would ruin this magic bowl - so I guess I have to pooop another tin open, not a lat blend - I will poooop another HU blend open: Louisiana Broken! I had a sample a while ago and enjoyed it very much...

Yes it is. A Virginia broken flake with a good bit of Perique and a touch of Kentucky. Robust, bold, expressive - at the same time sweet and creamy. Good stuff!

    Edit: Happy birthday once again!
