ODF in a Savoy with an Arnold Palmer on the side. Been busy lately and am now 73 pages behind in this thread. Maybe I can catch up this weekend.

3P in a Peterson 80s. Sliced it a little thicker than normal and then rubbed it out rather than cutting it in to little cubes which is what I did last time. This way is better. Earl Grey tea. 23C(73F)H36%

DFS in the Oscar Dry Dublin. It still amazes me that a little more heel cake and this pipe smokes flakes even better than before. Maybe one day I'll get a dimes worth thickness down there and just keel over. Bed after this.

Earlier I had some Lancers Slices in the Czech car pipe (in the car!) and man that hit the spot at that time.

    Amen on the Scotch Flake.

Years ago I received a sample along with my usual G&H favorites. Lakeland nic-bombs were my smoke of choice at the time, so I wasn't expecting much from this Scotch Flake, described as being a mild-medium all natural Virginia flake.

Lo and behold that SF had a ton of flavor and was the definition of smoothness. Like you I could smoke it every day, but never got around to reordering.

Currently enjoying some Newminster Superior Navy Flake in a DH Diplomat ... smells a bit like roasted chestnuts with some caramelized sugar notes wafting in and out. Very pleasant stuff, but mild.

I was planning on going to bed but I got a wood hair to re try some HV in my African meer. I rarely smoke my meerschaums, and probably haven't picked either of them up since before Christmas...

Well it is pretty delicious in this pipe and is smoking cool and dry. I dont smoke the African meer as often as I smoke my briars because of the weight, but there is no excuse for why I dont smoke the lighter billiard more often.

Possibly, since my technique has improved my smoke in the meer is better?

I think the billiard is going to be used quite a bit this weekend...for testing purposes.

Yankees lead the O's 5-3 in the 9th. Red Sox lead the Rays 3-2 in the 8th. Vin and the Dodgers are playing the D-Backs on the XM. I'm settling down for more work, so I'm listing this next smoke a few minutes early: Sunrise Smoke in a 1975 full bend black Dunhill Shell 52021.

See you fellas a little later! Don't forget to feed DBear!

I'm behind in this thread and on my alerts so I just saw this. Kendal Dark is awesome! It is on my "pounds" list for the cellar.

Stormy has moved on and I have no law school classes in the morning, so I'm doing a late-night cob full of MacBaren Club Blend out on the steps in the newly cool night air.
