Having some post lunch 3P's in an MM Legend, seems to taste better in a cob. I can't believe I've smoked this stuff so quickly.

I usually smoke an OTC burley or VA/Bur on workday mornings, but today I really wanted Virginia Woods. So I loaded a Sav with VW and got it burning pretty well while having my first cup of coffee this morning. By the time I hit the road it was smoldering well and required no maintenance during the 20 minujte commute. I would smoke Virginia Woods everyday but the tin cost is prohibitive. If only I could find a bulk blend with this flavor.

Time for some more Peterson HP in the new Mr Brog. Not sure about the beverage though, maybe a loose leaf billy tea. Still reading Corriea's MHI.

I've noticed a lot of favorable comments lately about Borkum Riff Bourbon. Did STG (or whoever the blender is) do a reboot of this mixture? I remember smoking a big tin of it back in the late 1960's: fairly tasty, but nothing memorable.

For that matter, the new SWR is superb. It still has that trademark aroma and deep burley flavor, yet it's somehow softer and more refined. Kudos to STG.

Peterson Nutty Cut in a Peterson Lestrade ... the cake in this pipe is thoroughly infused with Nutty Cut, and the resulting smoke is absolutely delicious.

Glad to see you're feeling better LD, and you're back on your 'feed'! It's a sad time for the rest of us when one of our fellows isn't properly wreathed in smoke.

Finishing up the Nutty Cut, and thinking of moving on to some Vauen Va. Flake No. 14 in a straight MM Pride ...

Enjoying a bowl of Vanilla Cavendish in my Rekampip Burnt Poker and a cup of coffee. Loving the fact that New Mexico has gotten more rain over the past 2 days than we have seen in 5 years. Not enjoying the fact that that much rain brings flash floods across the state, and Colorado is now getting the storm that went through here and is getting bad flash floods as well. We needed the water.......we got it.

One last bowl of the Plum Cake in the Country Gent, before guests arrive a there is a house full of screaming three year olds. When I finally get back home I intend to take a long holiday away from McB blends.
