Austrian meerschaum estate pipe

    So I just won this guy on the 'bay!

    From what the seller says it's Block meerschaum and Austrian made. Can't tell if I just got lucky or suckered as it only set me back about $30.

    Since it's not only my first meerschaum, but my first estate pipe, I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how to clean her up once she comes in.

    Sorry, no advice here, but that is a nice looking pipe. That is exactly what I will be looking for when I finally dive into the meer world.

    Looks like a nice score, the draft looks like it might benefit from being opened a little by a professional, but I'd just clean the stem with a little alcohol and see how she smokes, might be a real winner!
