I have a Medico with a straight nylon stem that I want to put a slight bend into. Can a nylon stem be bent using the boiling water technique? At the present time I do not have a heat gun.

I dunno. There are bent stemmed Falcons, for example, but I don't know if they are manufactured that way or bent after....

Well I am going to give it a shot tonight. But I am going to try the heat from a candle first, being very careful not to get the flame to close or heat it too long.

Falcon produce a "curved" model where only the bit is bent.
