I love SWR. It's probably my favorite right now. That said, it doesn't have quite enough body for me. I'd like to try something with that good ol' natural burley taste that SWR has, but with a more full flavor.

Please note, I'm not asking to be kicked in the face with a Nicotine Chuck Norris. I just want something with a little heavier burley flavor.

    Any suggestions?

John Patton's Storm Front is an outstanding burley, one of the best available.

Peretti's BPC (Burley Plug Cut) smokes like SWR but with more body. Available from www.ljperetti.com.

I think you would like BLB.

As far as I go, the jury is still out on Storm Front. My first bowl was just ok.

agreed; my one addition would be C&D's Big & Burley--good green; a year under glass makes a wonderful smoke--

I second aged burley flake and Burley London Blend. Wessex Burley broadcut is good too but it does have a bit of a casing. Not and aro but it's there. I don't think everyone gets that from it though.

I am surprised no one has added Pipeworks & Wilke's Nut Brown Burley. I think it's as good a Burley as there is out there. Available here,

Well - I guess the many pipes I smoke daily + snus + snuff + the occasional cigar
    have taken their toll...;)

Only because it sounded to me like the OP wanted a blend that tasted like SWR but with more body and flavor. For me, there are only two that I've smoked that fit that bill, the Peretti's BPC and C&D's Burley Straight. Nut Brown Burley is an excellent burley blend, though, as are many of the others that were mentioned but to me they don't taste like SWR.

I agree. I didn't realize that he was looking for something similar. Nut Brown Burley doesn't have the added flavors of SWR or any OTC for that matter. I've never tried the Peretti BPC, I didn't know if it was cased or not. I have tried the Peretti 333 and I like that one alot. It is somehow reminiscent of ERR. I wouldn't say it is a clone or anything like that but it has something similar to it.
The only problem I have with SWR is that it is too light for my tastes. I guess it could be spiked up with C&D's Burley Flake #3 to add some kick.
That is the problem I have with almost all the OTC's. Just too mild for my taste. And they burn too fast.
