    Finish looks like a Peterson but the metal work does not. Nice piece all the same!

    I was gonna go with Kaywoodie except for the metal band. It just didn't look like a Kaywoodie band to me. I guess we'll wait and see. :popc:

    Actually in the second picture I am seeing a little "G" stamped in the briar, so it is most likely a Grabow, but I answered Kaywoodie because I have seen many that have a very similar finish and stain, but we'll see!! You're right about the metal!

    Knew it. Every once in a while you get a Grabow that's just awesome like that.

    Two smaller ones on the heel.

    The picture of the Birdseye doesn't do it justice. It's simply amazing.

    WOW ... great grain ! So much more to look at than a vertial straight grain
