You're expecting an order to come with some tobaccos you've been jonesing for (in my case Old Gowrie and Nightcap) and you wake up with a headcold?

Yesterday evening I cleaned and sweetened a pipe in anticipation of the Nightcap but today I feel awful and can't taste anything. Thank you immune system :(

Oh man! I hate being sick! That just blows for you... on the bright side, you're giving the taste buds a break.. so the next smoke will be even more wonderful than you thought it might!

Thanks guys, luckily I've got a long weekend off work so hopefully I'll be well enough soon to enjoy a few bowls before I go back.

Try eating a few oranges! They should give your immune system a bit of a boost, and it seems they kind of clear the palate for the important things in life:

I had a friend send me a big box of lots of toby, and got a headcold the day before it arrived. It sucks! :(

You'll get over it though, and the anticipation will make it all the better. :bing:

Head colds suck you can't do anything about them. Allergies are a different story. I take 1 Zyrtec & I'm good all day. I have suffered my whole life with them & i tell you the new gen. of antihistamines work for me. The old stuff would turn me into a cranky zombie but not this stuff.

I had my head cold over a month ago, it was a duzy. A good week to get somewhat normal. Good luck!
