This evening my friend gave me a Dunhill estate pipe for my bday, it's my first dunhill (although I did manage to get a birth year dunhill on eBay last night).
It's quite a large pipe, and man does it smoke great! Smoked some dunhill nightcap through it (seemed only fitting that I smoke a dunhill tobacco for the first bowl, incredibly different to smoking nightcap in a meer (how I normally smoke it))
I'm not sure what year it is but I assume its around the 60s or 70s.
If anyone is able to date it for me it would be much appreciated.
This is what is has on the bottom of the shank:
    120 F/T Dunhill shell briar
    Made in England 4 S

Very nice bent Shell. You will find the year as a suffix number after the word England.

That's a lovely pipe, one of my favorite Dunhill shapes.
    Now, buff that stem! ;-)

(I'll do it for you as a belated bday present)

I think that's the same shape as my first Dunnie (not a birth year, though). Looks to be a fine pipe! I'm sure it will treat you well.

And spill I think I'll have to take you up on that offer :)
