You should be able to find lead-free solder for sweating copper pipes together in the plumbing section of your local hardware store if you wanted to try and fix it, but otherwise it sounds like replacement is the better option.

just find silver solder. It's stronger, and non-toxic. You usually can fine a little blister pack with a coil of solder and the flux. If you have a butane torch lighter, it would probably be ideal for this. Not hard at all.
