So I am curious so I would like to throw out a question to the group. Name some famous pipe smokers and what was their preferred blend of pipe tobacco. Who can come up with the longest list? Serious answers please. I mean I've seen Popeye run spinach through his pipe several times as well. Thanks in advance.

I think former President Gerald Ford was a Field & Stream man for the most part.

    I always wondered about Hef
If we are to believe the marketing C&D has blends that either were smoked by or emmulate blends smoked by Bing Crosby and Albert Einstein

Einstein smoked Revelation, Shelby Foote smoked Prince Albert, Edward G. Robinson Blend, and a blend from a shop in Memphis called "Shiloh" that he created, William Faulkner smoked Prince Albert and 965, Joseph Stalin smoked Dunhill Royal Yacht (supposedly)...

Back to business. Check this out. It is a retail toby shop in Beverly Hills. click on the different blends and the owner mentions the celebs that use his different blends. Remember back a few years, there was no on-line purchases and many celebs just ran down to this shop. Hope this helps.
Happy Easter to all you believers out there.
