Never been and never even spent much time at their website, so curious if there's anything I should look for while I'm there. Not in the market for pipes, so will probably be scoping out the tobacco offerings. Seems their prices are higher than some etailers, but I guess that's to be expected of a B&m.

Thanks in advance for any tips that might be offered.

While I haven't tried it myself, Yinyang says that their IRC Virginia Flake is very close to GAF for a lot less money. Might be worth a shot.

The tobacco selection is pretty good, but they have some great prices on some of the pipes they offer. You say you aren't in the market for a new pipe, but I might suggest reconsidering if you have a little extra cash. I got a Ben Wade Canadian from them for under 50 bucks, and it's a really nice pipe.

Holy crap.....so I just looked at their toby selection and here's the list I put together....god help me if I actually buy all of these !

    IRC Virginia Flake
    IRC 2035 Flake
    IRC 2010 Flake
China Black (each of 3 different)
    Petersen Sherlock Holmes (iffy)
" University Flake (Love this, going to grab at least two more tins for the cellar...probably 3)
1792 Flake. Gotta try it I guess.
Squadron Leader....keep hearing so much about it...gotta try it
    Orlik Golden Slice (iffy)
    Torben Dansk Black Velvet (iffy)
Hamborger Veermeister (website is out of stock...hopefully they have it in store...heard about it...gotta try)
    GL Pease Jackknife Plug
    " Maltese Falcon (iffy)
    " Triple Play (iffy)
    Christmas Cheer
    W.O. Larsen 1864 (iffy)
    Balkan Sasieni (iffy)
    Denocotea Blend (iffy)
    Ennerdale Flake
    Bob's Chocolate Flake
Frog Morton (original...never tried...have OTB and OTT)

Anyone want to swing any of these "iffys" to Must Haves?

Will definitely scope out pipes, but really not needing another at the moment. If they have a great deal, well...a deal is a deal after all.

Also feel free to talk me out of anything that isn't worth trying...just jotted down what sounded good. Most of the IRC will be small samples.

I'd recommend trying their Buttered Rum.

Merry Christmas to me I guess. Passed on the pipes....spent plenty on toby as it was. Tempted by a couple Petersens and Ben Wades though. Helluva store. I will be back.

Strong is good sometimes. Did pick up OG. The salesman strongly rec'd it as well.

Came home and put all but the Christmas cheer and IRC flakes in a box and stashed in the basement....the wine cellar is now a toby cellar too.

Well, I've already been there, and, yeah...it didn't make it to the counter. Was also tempted by a tin of "Black Shag" (Sherlock Holmes fan here), but passed on that as well.

Huh, I thought that would have been on there by now. It's what we call Dunhill Flake. As in "it's so good I don't care if they called it Gorilla Asscrack Flake, I'd still smoke it", per Puff.
