I found this at a flea market for 8 bucks. I have no idea what it is but I really liked it. I told myself I had to come home with something and this is what I ended up with.

No, I've looked it over and I don't see any other markings.

IIRC Dr G or Medico made a pipe way back when that had that kind of Kaywoodie type stinger. Also, back in the '60's you could sometimes find a deal where their would be a no name pipe attached to a pouch of tobacco that had something like that.

Does the ball on the end of the stinger have 3 or 4 holes around the middle of it?

No, there is just one in the very center. I don't mind if it's nothing special. I love the grain in the wood and it seems to smoke nicely. The cake in it was so thick I could'nt fit my pinky inside but I got it down to about a nickles depth. The stinger makes it realy hard to get a cleaner through.

Unfortunately that is the nature of a stinger. If it smokes good that is all that matters.

I used to be a big flea market and garage sale goer and now I'm getting back into it. There's a big difference now that I can't help but blame on the internet. It's hard to find a great deal. To many people looking online for price checks. This guy had several no name pipes that he had $50 on. I don't know what he was thinking.

Just my opinion, but I'd rather find a "mystery pipe" that was an excellent smoker over a name brand pipe that wasn't, any day of the week. Ya got yourself a good smoker...SCORE! Congrates on the find! Love yardsales and flea markets, lol.

    That's a LOVELY Bulldog you've scored here!!!! Congratulations!!!!:toast:
I personally would just throw the stinger away.... it doesn't really help to be honest.
    Enjoy your new pipe!!!!!:bing:

Can you pull the stinger out of the center of that thread? I would love to get that stinger out of there. It traps to much moisture.
