I rode my bike out to a fleamarket near the coast to see what I could find and came up with a Savinelli, a Sasieni and a Kaywoodie. After looking through a garbage bag full of old pipes.
    Here are the pics.

    $23.00 for the three.

Wonderful find especially if that Sasieni is family made (pre-1979)!

Great find. All I have ever found at the flea market (so far) was some old tins (PA and H&H)...seeing how Half and Half is my daily smoke, I picked that one up for $2...

Anybody have an idea on the value of these? The savinelli seems pretty old, it has a brass insert in the stem and a metal tube inside, and the saseini royal stuart was sold as a second from what I read. The kaywoodie I see selling on ebay for 5 to 20 bucks. But I wanted to try one.

That was a good day. Put two hobbies together motorcycling and pipe hunting and you cant go wrong. Maine has countless antique stores so hopefully this is just the beginning.

If that's how they looked right out of the bag you did very well. Hardly any clean up needed!

Nope They were pretty nasty. They were almostl caked solid and the stems were heavily oxidized. I spent an hour on the rim buildup alone. Then salt, vodka and Halcyon II wax and a buff.
I should have taken before pics but I was too eager to get started. Still need more stem work when I have time.

Those are nice! The only ones that I ever find at flea markets looked like the owner played boomerang with the pipes in a concrete parking lot.

Nice score, indeed! I'd head'r back there too. Especially if there are more quality pipes to be had for cheap?
