Basil and I met at the TAPS show in Raleigh a couple of weeks ago. I was so impressed with the pipe he was smoking I asked him to make a pipe for me, a near-copy of one I had purchased at the show. This is what he came up with: http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u453/reddog28081/017.jpg

He just put it in the mail today, so I don't actually have it in hand, yet. I'll try to post more pictures, both of this one and the one he used as a pattern, when it finally arrives.

Nice--I hope you get much enjoyment from it. Be patient--or if you like I can stand by your mail box & take care of such things as smoking it forst to test it for you--just to make sure its a keeper---just sayin--:haha:

From the pictures it looks great--I'm just funnin with yah about standing by your mail box.
Its always nice when you know that a pipe that you want is on the way--then the trips to the mail box until---OH YEAH--the box--and finally the fun of opening it up--checking it out and then getting to smoke it.
    Once again--enjoy it.

Wow that is a beautiful pipe! I've been enamored with the 1/4 bent dublin shape for a while now. I hope it smokes as great as it looks! Nice job Basil!

I have one of his pipes as well and I've titled it the basil Meadows touched by God pipe .. any blend I put in it smokes perfect ! Mines super light weight and I can clench and walk with it pretty much all day and hardly know it's there . I need to take a picture of it soon ... it's killer !

We are lucky to own one
